Speeding on Westlinks:

Question 1.  I previously requested the original Board to consider adding a stop sign along Westlinks Drive and consider speed bumps to be installed at the stop signs since many times the traffic ignores them completely. The vendors that use the back gate speed up and down Westlinks and I have noticed that deliveries going to the County Club are the most frequent offenders. These are the tractor trailers delivering food and beer.

What consideration has this Board given to this issue, please understand as Gateway Blvd. speeding has been controlled many residents use Westlinks as a quick exit .  I have seen traffic enforcement ticket some folks but the consistency of enforcement is not at the same level as Gateway Blvd., even if you factor in the difference in traffic volume. Perhaps there are plans I am not aware, please provide any updates to me.   See Answer

Question 2.  Speeding violations on West Links has seemed to have increased recently, most notably commercial trucks and overnight delivery drivers. One homeowner suggested that they be given a paper upon entry directing the driver to obey traffic signs and to maintain the 25 MPH speed limit. I personally saw a UPS truck go thru the resident entry, the truck must have a bar code to automatically open the gate. Is this a permitted practice?    See Answer

Question 3.  I  suggest that guest passes state speed limit is 25, this especially applies to commercial trucks that are regulars since they exceed speed limits often and roll through stop signs.  Thank you.  See Answer
